Can I bring my partner?
Only if they are a woman! And have a ticket. :)
What type of camping is available?
Primitive camping is included in your GA ticket. There are three ways to camp–primitive, glamping, or car & RV camping. There is a limited number of glamping tents and car and RV passes, so don’t wait to reserve your spot now. They will sell out! To get your tickets, click here.
Can my husband drop me off or stay in our RV?
No men are allowed on the festival property, however they can drop you off at the gates! They will not be permitted to come onto the land.
What should I bring?
This is a CAMP OUT on rural land. Bring anything you’ll need to camp comfortably, such as a water bottle, a plate/bowl/utensils, pillows, foam mats, a cooler, sleeping bags, headlamps (or flashlights), dishes, and toiletries.
There is a cafe and marketplace, so don’t forget to bring cash. If you want to bring your own drinks or snacks, please do so!! Are children allowed to attend?
Yes! Girls of all ages are welcome. Boys 6 and under are also welcome. All children, including infants must have tickets. To get your tickets, click here.
Will there be food?
Breakfast and dinner are included with your ticket. There is a cafe where coffee, smoothies, and snacks are available. But please bring any additional snacks or drinks you think you’ll need.
Can I bring my baby?
Yes! All babies and children require a ticket to enter. Baby tickets are free! Toddlers require a ticket as well - this is to ensure that MRF doesn’t become a toddler party. To check if tickets are still available, click here.
Will there be drinking water?
Yes, there is clean spring water. We also provide a washing station for your dishes in the kitchen area.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely not. No animals of any kind are allowed, and if animals are brought in without our knowledge, you will have to leave the event.
Will I be able to buy ice?
Yes! We will have bags of ice for sale every morning.
What about rain and bugs?
YES! There will likely be both; please come prepared for both rain and bugs.
What's the trash situation?
It’s pack it in, pack it out! Please come prepared to handle your trash. We do not provide trashcans for public use.
Is there poison ivy?
Yes, there is poison ivy. We will have poison ivy in a ziplock bag at the MRF info and welcome station for you to familiarize yourself with, and we will do our best to tag the poison ivy in common areas with spray paint. We suggest hiking boots, socks, and covered skin if you plan on doing any off trail hiking or exploring.
Will I have access to a kitchen or refrigeration?
No. This is a camping festival. However, all meals are included with your ticket. You can bring camping stoves if you want to make any other snacks or meals. Fires are not permitted.
No. If you need refrigeration, it is your responsibility to bring a cooler. Ice will be sold everyday.
What’s there to do for the kids?
We offer a kids camp every day of the festival. Children 4 and up are welcome. Your child's ticket includes access to the kid’s camp. For more information about Kids Camp, click here. Your child MUST be fully potty-trained to participate.
Are fires permitted?
No. The festival will have nightly bonfires, but personal fires are not allowed.
Is there WiFi at the Festival?
No, but there is cell service scattered around the property. Verizon seems to work best.
What’s the exact location of the festival?
The festival location is in Hayesville, North Carolina. We are 2.5 hours north of Atlanta, 2 hours west of Asheville, NC, and 2 hours east of Chattanooga, TN. The venue address will be released once you’ve purchased a ticket. For more details on how to get here, click here.
Will there be somewhere I can charge my phone?
Yes! We will have a charging station in the dining tent.
What's the closest airport?
Atlanta, GA; Asheville, NC; and Chattanooga, Tennessee. All three airports are roughly 2 hours from the venue. If you’re flying, click here for more details on how to get here.
Will there be amplified sound? Will that bother my children?
Yes and maybe! Please bring ear-plugs and whatever support you may need to help yourself and your kids sleep. There is amplified sound on the last two nights of the festival. We are likely to go late on the last night!
How do I get from the airport to the festival grounds?

Where can I get my festival merchandise?
Do we have to pay for parking?
There will be a lot to park cars in for primitive campers. If you purchase a car or RV pass (limited quantity available), you will bring your car onto the grounds and camp next to it. RV and Car Passes will not be available to purchase on site, so make sure you add them on when you purchase your ticket. These will sell out! To get your tickets, click here.
What if I forget something? Is there a local store nearby?
There will be NO re-entry once you’re in the event, so pack everything you need. We do offer limited in-and-out passes here.
Are single-day passes available?
No.
Is there somewhere to swim?
Unfortunately, no! While we have a beautiful pond, it isn’t available for swimming. There is, however, a spring-fed creek where everyone is welcome to dip their feet in!
What if I can’t come the whole time?
That's fine! You are welcome to leave anytime, but there is no re-entry without an in & out pass.
Arrival day is Tuesday, June 18th. Gates are open from 12 pm - 8 pm. The festival gates will be open for the festival every day on from 8 am to 8 pm.
Can I volunteer or do work trade?
We accept applications for teachers, performers, bodyworkers, healers, and marketplace vendors each year. There is a small number of volunteer and work trade positions available.

Do you offer refunds?
No, but you are welcome to sell and transfer a ticket. Email us at [email protected].
What's the bathroom situation?
We have a bathhouse with 3 flushing toilets and 3 (hot!) showers. We also have porto-potty's scattered around the property. There is also a flushing toilet at the new kitchen pavilion.
If the toddler pass is sold out could we buy a kids camp pass instead?
No! Kids tickets are for kids ages 4-10. You can email us to join the waitlist and keep an eye out on the WhatsApp group where women are reselling.
Can I have a company come set up my trailer/RV for me?
No! Only ticket holders are allowed on site. Everyone with a car or rv pass needs to be entirely responsible for their vehicle at all times.
Can I mail something to myself at the festival address?
No! Any mail that is received will be returned to sender. We are unable to accept mail at this address.
